Hypersensitivity to Sounds ~ Alanda B...

I constantly want to scream whenever I'm around my brother. He is the embodiment of all my pet peeves. He sucks on his food, he smacks his lips with every bite, he slurps his drinks - every single damn time. It is like a million attacks on my hypersensitivity. It never fails to make me on edge. I am forever fighting the urge to shout.
We've (my mother and I) talked to him about this idiosyncratic issue of his multiple times. He usually stops for about 2 minutes, then starts again. Or - and this is so much worse - he does it worse on purpose to get me going. The thing that makes me mad about this brotherly prank is that HE ALSO HAS HYPERSENSITIVITY ISSUES! You would think this would make him more sympathetic rather than less sensitive.
I am forever walking on eggshells to avoid upsetting him but when he knows something is getting to me do you think for even a second he returns the favor? Nope. Not once.
When he finally finishes his meals or beverages I'm not even able to calm down because he just starts sucking on his spit. It's RIDICULOUS!
And now I've quit ranting. Thank you for taking the time to read and learn a little bit about my struggles.
